The Italian “confetti” (or as we know them, sugared almonds) have come a long way over the years. In addition to the traditional white colour that everyone once used, colours have been added which have made them more fun to tie into event colour schemes, or tailored to gender specific occasions, for example the birth of a new baby, baptisms and baby showers.

But it doesn’t stop there! Sugared Almonds go way beyond colour, and nowadays we are really spoilt for choice with the wide variety of flavours and unique centred fillings they come in. 

Whilst Sugared Almond Boutique is famously known for its flavoured range of delicious sugared almonds, we also have a “traditional” range if you are wanting to keep it more simplistic and tailored to tradition. 

So what’s the difference between our flavoured and traditional range? 

Our Flavoured Sugared Almonds have a nut centre which go beyond a typical almond. Depending on the flavour, the almond could be replaced with a hazelnut, pistachio or soft jelly centre. Now for the fun part; a chocolate filling which come in a variety of moreish flavours, and then finished in a thin layer of sugar. These have been created to fulfil the needs and tastes of everyone! 

Our Traditional Sugared Almonds on the other hand have an almond centre and are wrapped in a thin layer of sugar. They are simple and classic and come in white, pink and blue. Perfect for weddings and christenings as white symbolises purity and pink or blue for gender themed special occasions. 

The next question you probably have is, so what makes your traditional sugared almonds different to all the other tooth breaking kind on the market? 

Well, one thing we can guarantee is that our traditional sugared almonds are not hard! Instead they are premium quality, meaning each almond has been specifically picked and passed through a control test. The sugar coating is thin, so even when you bite into it you don’t have to worry about breaking your teeth!
